Vianarra is a hospitality storytelling and advisory practice built to strip away generic corporate scripts and transactional service standards that quietly erode independent margins. We look at hospitality through a distinct lens: 30 years directing global crisis management and operational resilience across four continents, combined with an interpretive park ranger background and WSET Level 2 wine credentials.

We work with Northern Nevada winemakers, boutique hotels, restaurants, and tourism bureaus through two uncompromising deliverables:

• The Guest Experience Audit: A cold, high-standards structural inspection of the complete customer journey—from the digital storefront to the physical front-desk or tasting bar interaction—concluding with a brutal, fluff-free operational punch-list prioritized by revenue and conversion impact.

• Narrative Architecture & Staff Training: Customized frontline workshops that anchor team members in a property's actual heritage, terroir, and history to enforce a repeatable, high-loyalty service culture.

We also deliver main-stage keynotes to destination marketing organizations and business associations across Washoe County. We don't deal in wellness trends or marketing buzzwords. We deal in readiness, operational standards, and the deep structure required to make guests truly belong.

Patrick R. Dunn is the founder of Vianarra. He runs guided wine tastings for private groups, client appreciation events, executive offsites, and board retreats, built around where the wine came from and who made it rather than a standard pour. He also plans wine country itineraries and hosts trips as an independent travel advisor of Fora Travel, covering Northern Nevada, Lake Tahoe, Sonoma County, Napa Valley, and Amador County. On the trade side, Hospitality Storytelling Workshops train front-of-house teams at wineries, hotels, and restaurants to carry their property's real history in their own words. Patrick holds WSET Level 3 certification, spent more than a decade as a National Park Service interpretive ranger, and is the author of Stop Leading on Empty. Every tasting, itinerary, and workshop is built for the group rather than pulled off a shelf.
