Waste Management Tour of Transfer Station Facility

Description

Managing Waste in Northern Nevada WM will host a tour beginning at 9:30 am. The tour will be 60-75 minutes. It will begin in the WM tour room and participants will learn how recyclable materials are sorted, processed and prepared for recycling from a mixed waste stream. Then there is a 15-minute walk around the facility. Meet at the Chamber for refreshments at 8:45 am and the bus will leave at 9:00 am. The bus will arrive no later than 11:30am back to the chamber parking lot.
